Who we are
Buzz Vending (“we”, “us”) supplies and manages vending machines for sites across London and Kent. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
Contact us about anything on this page at hello@buzzvending.co.uk.
Buzz Vending Limited, company number 17381278. Registered office: 124-128 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. Through the enquiry form or by email, that is typically:
- your name;
- your company or site name;
- your email address and, if you provide it, your phone number;
- your site postcode, site type and approximate number of people on site;
- anything else you write in the message field.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, bank details or any special category data (such as health information) through this website.
Why we use it
We use the information you send to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- assess whether your site is suitable for a vending machine;
- arrange a site visit and, if it goes ahead, set up and service the installation;
- keep records of our business dealings with you.
Our lawful bases are your consent (when you submit the form), steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and keeping proper records.
Marketing
We will not add you to a marketing list or send you unrelated promotional email because you made an enquiry. If we ever do introduce a mailing list, it will be opt-in, and every message will carry an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary with:
- our email and IT providers, who host the systems we use to receive and store enquiries;
- the form-handling provider that delivers enquiries to our inbox, if one is in use;
- professional advisers, or authorities, where we are legally required to.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead anywhere are normally deleted within 24 months. Where we go on to install a machine, we keep records for as long as the arrangement lasts and afterwards for the period required for tax, accounting and legal purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Pages load a web font from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch the font file.
[If you later add analytics — Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom or similar — update this section, and add a cookie banner if the tool sets cookies or is used for tracking.]
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- ask us to delete your data, in certain circumstances;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent;
- ask for your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email hello@buzzvending.co.uk. We'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and revise the review date above.
